The most southern city in the Netherlands, Maastricht, is the city where CHARON came from. Active at the end of 80s/early 90s the band released a demo “Silent World”. The band played melodic hardrock/heavy metal including keyboards. “Silent World” starts with a huge keyboard intro to be followed by “Hiroshima”, “Feel My Hate” (good heavy metal song!), “Unspoken Words” (a ballad), “Key To Eternity” and “Silent Word”. All good melodic hardrock/heavy metal songs, which should appeal to all melodic hardrock/metal fans.
