Glimmer – Silver Zone 1999

My favorite song is “Make It Real.” I just love that song. That is why i bought this cd. I know that is kinda stupid, to buy a cd just because of one song, but it is done all the time. And buying a cd because of that one song that you heard on the radio, or saw on mtv, doesn’t make the rest of the cd great. That one song could be the only good song on this cd. But in Glimmer’s case, it isn’t. Although i love “Make It Real” the best, the whole cd in general was excellent. I listen to this cd at least once a day. I would recommend this cd to anyone who likes alternative or rock/pop. S

Outlaws ?– Playin’ To Win [Remastered Arista/Legacy] 2017

The Outlaws have always been one of my favorites no matter the lineup and I’ve always considered Ghost Riders one of their finest works. I was not however a huge fan of Playin’ To Win at the time of it’s release in 1978 but listening to it now and coming to understand the dynamics taking place in the group at the time I’ve gained a new appreciation for the material on the record though I still believe the record was overproduced.

2. Cry Some More
3. You Are The Show
4. You Can Have It

TRUSTIES – UNTOUCHABLE 2016

It’s been sometime since we’ve heard from Finnish progressive rock band Trusties, seven years actually. Apparently they’ve been busy working on Untouchable, a concept album, a psychological thriller, about Arthur the Martyr, a seemingly normal kid planning a mass murder. The story take place not so much in normal reality but the fantasy world of the protagonist. See the story teaser at the end of the review and following the music video for more details.

1. Arrival from Within 2:14
2. Slave of the Song 3:29
3. Quicksand 2:45
4. Loner in the Lone

ANDY TIMMONS BAND – THEME FROM A PERFECT WORLD 2016

Let’s start with a statement: if you are an AC/DC kind of rock fan, and worship bands like Airbourne (which I love by the way) and at the same time do not tolerate anything else, you will most likely not get this album at all. The same, if you are a diehard Danger Danger fan (anyone out there?), what you might expect out of Andy would be an instrumental follow-up to his last collaborations with Danger Danger — Cockroach or Screw It. This is a completely different kind of music.

Track List:
01. Ascension
