Recomenede! I’m going to confess something … I never liked rock in Spanish. Never. There were things of Red Baron, Blue Blood, Santa with the great Jero whom he admired a lot and little else. I used to buy Judas Priest, Journey, Ozzy, Dio or Ratt records. It is so. And I’m sorry to say that even today I still have a hard time listening to rock in Spanish … With the exception of Hackers, everything is said.

Like Divina y fatal, a song that could have been signed by the Journey themselves, with a pure AOR flavor of yesteryear. A guitar melody at the end of the hall with a few drops of quality Chanel No. 5 to perfume an absolutely wonderful theme.

So to wrap things up and toss ’em in the hatch, this latest EP from Speedbilly ain’t rocket science — not even close. It’s more like 12 minutes of intense dirty fun perfect for a backporch PBR bender. Heck, might even call for throwing some cheap dogs on the grill. Don’t even need shoes for this stuff but be warned, if you’re more of fresh new rock tee dude coddled by the likes of sensitive, polished AOR, then you might just wanna pull off at the next rest stop until Speedbilly smoke on through.
