ADD REAL LINK, MP3/FLAC + Scans! French reissue label Bad Reputation has just released for the first time on CD “Breaking All The Rules“, RON GOEDERT‘s LP from 1980 fully remastered. This rocking, bluesy American album is in fact from the Tampa, Florida band named WHITE WITCH that made two albums for Capricorn Records in the early Seventies.
“Breaking All The Rules”, was released in 1979/1980 under WHITE WITCH’s vocalist Ron Goedert’s name as if it were a solo release, much to the annoyance of the band. The group toured heavily following the album’s release, supporting MOUNTAIN, ZZ TOP, BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, EDGAR WINTER, HOT TUNA, IRON BUTTERFLY and THE JOE PERRY PROJECT.

It is Harrison’s second official live album, credited to “George Harrison with Eric Clapton and Band”, following the 1971 Grammy-winning “The Concert for Bangladesh”.
The album was recorded during his Japanese tour backed by Eric Clapton in December 1991 and contains a selection of Harrison’s hits as a solo artist, as well as some of his best-known Beatles songs. Apart from the 2001 re-release of All Things Must Pass with previously unavailable bonus tracks, Live in Japan was Harrison’s last release before his death in November 2001.

As part of the really good Universal Music Japan campaign of their ‘HR/HM 1000‘ series – the Limited Release reissue of long time out of print albums from their Hard Rock / Heavy Metal catalog at the affordable price of 1000 Yen = about 8 USD – and their recent second 2022 batch ”HR-HM 1000 Vol.5”, we find this little gem; WHITE SPIRIT‘s self-titled album “White Spirit” from 1980 in its remastered version plus bonus tracks.
