in 1995-1999 Lawton had a group called GunHill. In May 2000, Heepvention took place in London with Hensley-Lawton concerts based on Lawton’s group, and since 2001, regular performances of the Hensley-Lawton Band began.

At the end of 2000 Lawton released a solo album “Still payin ‘my dues … to the blues”, the songs from which were performed at concerts at the end of 2000. The Ohne Filter company filmed the concert on December 29, 2000 in Baden-Baden, Germany. Unfortunately, the video was never released on DVD, but then it was shown on the SWR3 channel. Everyone who enjoyed John’s 2006 performances 8 and the Tom Jones concert recorded overall at a rather old age, it will be extremely curious to see and hear the golden voice of Australia in full bloom.
