STEAMING SATELLITES – THE MUSTACHE MOZART AFFAIRE (2012)

Difficult to understand what these five guys from Salzburg or anything before. Are you planning to invent a kind of intergalactic spaceship constructed from parts of their beloved vintage instruments? What fuel do they use? Worn Underwear? Can it work?Maybe they do not need a spaceship to reach the cosmos? Where possible, they spent their last summer holiday there already. Who knows? Your music on, it seems, as if they were returned to Earth to take on new adventures to combine the cosmic energies and to ground them.
They invite us to become a part of their world by attending their concerts and listen to their records. “The Mustache Mozart affair,” her latest album, a log book, written from the depths of her soul. It affects us deeply in our hearts and in the face. Honestly, profoundly emotional, straight ahead. You have it, the leaden weight of Led Zeppelin, the spherical range of Pink Floyd and the significance of Bob Dylan, through all this, combined with electronic parts and excessive synth sounds, they are what they are given: a modern alternative rock band knows it, is to remember the past, to show her the proper respect and honor them. You could always recognize something special to their live performance, a unique energy between the band and the audience, which is constantly increasing and at the end of each concert at Jam escapades discharges. It is their stated ambition, passion and dedication to music, share it with all the people out there.
This certainly was well acquainted with “Portugal The Man” into existence, which they shared after a show, just took along on their subsequent tour of Europe, 2008. The following year she toured with bands such as The Builders And The Butchers, Eagle Seagull, Hello Electric, and played support shows for Thin Lizzy, Monster Magnet, International Noise Conspiracy, Therapy?, Oceansize, The Ravonettes, Kashmir and many more.
