Pathfinder – Fifth Element (2012)

PATHFINDER were in the past two years, THE rising bands and their strong debut album “Beyond The Space Beyond The Time”, they were able to establish itself very quickly throughout the scene. The album caught dozens of positive reviews and was considered by many to be THE power metal album 2011th Thus, there have been the Poles with their debut album made it very difficult, because the expectation is of course already extremely high and it has set a relatively high standard. PATHFINDER Now for something more than a year already back with their sequel to “Beyond The Space Beyond The Time.” “Fifth Element” is the good part and mixed by Sascha Paeth distinguished himself, who might be out there some one term.

As already used by the Poles, the plate is introduced by an epic intro that can score with the atmospheric speaker’s voice. For this, the more grandiose orchestrations tischeren that a real orchestra come very close.
With the title track, it goes straight into the full and Goosebumps are inevitable. At the same time “Fifth Element” the heaviest album on the board with just under nine minutes.Yet is no moment of boredom on … epic melodies, brutal vocals from singer Szymon good, technically skilled guitar work and orchestrations, a really raise the goose bumps. It has almost feel as if they themselves put in epic battles and can only have been positive. The song scores, despite its length with a very well thought out structure and skin unexpectedly been any song off the debut album. What a great start for this album!

“Ready To Die Between The Stars” does exactly up where the title track has stopped.Technically, this band has already reached the pinnacle! I have RARELY seen such a “young” bands who know their instruments to operate an SO! Guitars and keyboards merge into a oneness that is accompanied by the incredibly rich orchestration. I can only express my enthusiasm again, great movie! The verses begin gently, then go into the full and let rise again for a few goose bumps. The song is so good because I really miss the words. In the relatively suck out power metal area you get nowadays mostly inconsequential vocals served that sound like anything on the market … PATHFINDER at you with Szymon Kostro just someone on the mic, which is unique and it still holds a very rich spectrum. To come back again to the song – thrilling and bloody epic is also true here. Great up-tempo chorus that will make every power metal heart beat faster. To the skilled guitar work that sounds simple and not so stupid after what comes along.
