now! This album is a hybrid of 80’s arena rock, country and pop.like a Bon Jovi
Although Jerry Rodes’ history dates back to the late 80’s… It wasn’t until 11/07/09 that the path to Rock ‘n Roll history was finally illuminated for the band.
Through the years Jerry Rodes has seen members come and go, but Rodes and Johnny continue to create music together. Their new self-titled album has a classic 80’s tone but was influenced by artists from multiple genres like: Van Halen, Tesla, Brad Paisley, Fun., Taylor Swift and more.
Whether it be jingles for Aaron Gleeman’s “Gleeman and The Geek” on KFAN or 80’s power-synth songs, the two have created something that won’t ever die.
Their career has been driven by two phrases: “Go Big Or Go Home!” and “Be Excellent To Each Other!” Jerry is quoted as saying, “It reminds us to keep our head in the clouds and our feet on the ground.”
