Born in distant 1985, Alicate, melodic hard rock project of Swedish origin that 15 January 2013 will be back in stores with his new album, for Free Falling and distributed by Heart of Steel Records.

And beware, dear readers, because, although browsing in many ways in the underground music, this album is really a great product invoice, with songs all very effective and production maybe not perfect but warm and full of emotions as only a few cases we can listen. The sound of these four Scandinavian musicians has very clear ideas, drawing influences from the discography of hard rock giants such as Magnum, Whitesnake, Ten and Treat but evolved into a dimension quite personal and original approach. To make a better idea, the voice from very good singer and guitarist Jonas Erixon has, timbre and tone, many points in common with David Coverdale but especially Jorn Lande, while the backing music, dominated by the beautiful guitars but even more precious by keyboards Glenn Ljungkvist, sounds like an excerpt from the company of old Bob Catley and partners.

1. Still standing
2. Wake me up
3. When night falls
4. Out of bounds
5. Forevermore
6. I believe
7. Make a wish
8. Can’t change it
9. Free falling
10. Carpe diem
