Collateral Damage – The Carnival 2013

collateraldamagethecarnival

Formed in 2004 in Italy, Collateral Damage is a heavy metal band with hard rock influences from ‘80’s bands such as Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Wasp.
The band’s lineup consists of Matt (vocals), Alex Damage (lead guitar), Blade (rhythm guitar), Steve (bass), and Slam Cage (drums). In 2009, the band released their first studio album, Collateral Damage, which has gotten some good reviews, and helped give the band some success. Now Collateral Damage is back to release their follow-up album, The Carnival.
The cover of The Carnival depicts an evil-looking circus clown holding some type of potion or perhaps poison. The evil figure has long dark nails and glowing eyes. The cover tells the listener that this carnival isn’t an ordinary carnival, but a dark carnival. Collateral Damage shows more ‘80’s hard rock influence on The Carnival than their previous release. However, the band still has plenty of heavy metal sounds to help rock the night away.
