Sirgaus – Sofia’s Forgotten Violin (2013)

FrontThe band was formed in 2011 from an idea of Mattia Gosetti , bassist and author strongly influenced by the Italian rock / metal of the 90s and with a great passion for symphonic music .

Already the author of several musicals, heavy metal begins an adventure with his wife Sonja , a singer scratchy style , on the model of the great myths of American grunge . The two carry a small full-length self-produced a collection of songs composed in previous years by Mattia and rearranged to be proposed by a band. They decide to bring their songs live and do just that joins the organic Maximum Pin : guitarist Cadore from plettrata gritty and elegant , a fine expression of musical eclecticism , which is governed by a vein of rock / blues inspired and passionate. After a few concerts , including the memorable debut at the Teatro Kursaal Auronzo on June 29, 2012, the renewed formation feels the need to express themselves through a subsequent album. Mattia thus began to compose songs for a new concept , ” Sofia´s forgotten violin ” , a story from the gothic / fantasy , described piece by piece in a romantic turn of events .. Arranged by the voice of Sonja , the guitars of Massimo and thanks to the collaboration with the Videoreadio of Joseph Aleo , the disc comes to life. On this occasion, Lethien , the violinist of the Elvenking ( famous group Folk / Heavy Metal Italian ) , is contacted by Mattia as a special guest , in order to further enrich the composition .
