South London born artrock musician, singer songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist. Trained as a percussionist, he played drums in bands in London whilst (occasionally) attending Croydon Art College, he then progressed to playing acoustic and electric guitar and fronting a number of bands including The Martyrs and Swanston.
Grice is a prolific singer/songwriter and is passionate about experimenting and manipulating sounds both analogue and digital. He has worked with the likes of Richard Barbieri (Japan, Porcupine Tree), Steve Jansen (Japan, Rain Tree Crow), Hossam Ramzy (Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel), BJ Cole and Raphael Ravenscroft (Baker Street, Pink Floyd). In 2012 he released his debut solo album ‘Propeller’ on his own label ‘hungersleep records’. The album was shortlisted in the UK album of the year category at the MPG Awards in 2013 and was featured on the covermount CD of Classic Rock presents Prog.
