Group of New England was founded in the US city of Boston in 1974. About two years drummer Hersh Gardner (Hirsh Gardner), stem-vishnik Jimmy Waldo (Jimmy Waldo), guitarist-vocalist John Fannon (John Fannon, ex-FLASH PUDDING) and bassist Gary Shea (Gary Shea) appeared under the names FATBACK, JACK and TARGET, until in 1976 finally renamed in New England. The first time the band worked on local markets, gaining experience and skill.
As long as they could not yet grasp the cunning bird of luck for a tail, though not in the guise of a fairy-tale, but in a completely human, namely, in the person of Paul Stanley (Paul Stanley) from own KISS.
