Bad Moon Born – Chemical Lullabies (2016) EP

FrontChemical Lullabies sounds great. The instruments are clear and, for an indie release, the production is high quality. The music itself is a bit of a cross-match between ’90s Audioslave or I Mother Earth and current hard rock. The “title” track “Chemical Lullaby” is an infectious groove with some great guitar work and solid rhythm section. “Drowning” starts off slowly, using Frank Lakoudis’ vocals as the driving force, before the band cuts in with a pretty good mid-tempo rocker…

Winterstorm – Cube of Infinity (2016)

13312791_1243659468991063_8684875399535197076_nThe band states : “Just like in the album itself the coverartwork centers the „Cube of Infinity“. It combines myth and darkness to an epic structure of metal. Hard riffs and hard edges. We, Winterstorm, tried to upgrade our style with new elements.
In our opinion the result is the best and hardest Winterstormalbum so far.

Old and new fans can be looking Forward to (will be pleased about) the upcoming storm!!!” Release 19.

Rage – The Devil Strikes Again (2016)

1464523527_12728851_980544231992275_5386974473316599518_n“The Devil Strikes Again” is already the 22nd studio album by ‘Rage’. After a radical change in line-up last year they made a stylistic return to the old days. The previously released EP “My Way” already makes this clear. Hardness and speed characterize the entire work, it is clear that ‘Rage’ want to continue in the style of “Trapped” and “Back In Mind” – with this disc they

Paradox – Pangea (2016)

1464456624_paradoxpangeacdFinally the seventh studio album of the German thrash metal legend hits the shelves – just in time for their 30th band anniversary. “Pangea” has a running time of 60 minutes making it by far the longest album by the band. The album has been produced by ‘Paradox’ mastermind Charly Steinhauer while the fantastic cover artwork was again designed by Claudio Bergamin. The central topic of the album is the last super continent “Pangea”.

Perfect for fans of Metallica, Megadeth, Testament, Exodus and Kreator!
