I have been a great fan of Gunhill Road since the early 70s when I saw them in concert as the Saratoga Performance Art Center. Their songs were very personal to me because they hit a personal chord me. Songs like “Sailing”, “She made a man out of me,” “Madness” and “My Antioneete”, I felt was written for what was going on in my life at the age of 19. The songs were simple, and popping off the either the LP or the CD that was release a couple of years back.

First time on CD for this 1972 album, now including four bonus tracks. Gunhill Road issued one album on Kama Sutra Records, which was produced by Kenny Rogers. The album was issued twice because at the time, the drug references made in the song ‘Back When My Hair Was Short’ were frowned upon. So a new version was recorded and the album was issued again with different sequencing. We have added the original uncensored version as a bonus track, along with three other rare bonus tracks.
