‘Heart of Stone’ is the title of both the new single and the new EP, by Australian rocker Joe Matera which is released on September 29. The new release is infused by an international flavour as the Australian is not only working together with a Dutch record company, but also the single is a full Swedish production. Both the musicians, producer and those who mastered ‘Heart of Stone’ come from Sweden. Joe Matera wrote his single together with Swedish bass player Peter Ljungberg while Tomas Skogsberg (Backyard Babies, Entombed, The Hellacopters) produced the track together with Matera.

With “Swan Songs II” LORD OF THE LOST show their ability to create fascinatingly heavy classical music. This is the second time they have conjured their music with an ensemble album in grand style. “ Swan Songs II” features the finest Dark Rock-sinfonia coated by dramatic arrangements for a chamber orchestra. This is a true opus featuring ten brand-new songs which were showcase tender strings and charming piano play with a heaviness one has come to expect from the band. Mastermind Chris Harms now has the ability and opportunity to fascinate with his dovelike voice but in contrast to his very sinister lyrics. O

Escape!« is the name of the new EP by Chicago’s finest, High Spirits. The limited to 450 copies vinyl edition includes four brand new studio tracks.
