LAKE PLACID – which began in 1978 as a school band, quickly led to the boardrooms of the record companies and the youth magazine BRAVO. In 1980, Hardrock’s band led by bandleader Detlef “Scooter” Gödicke released their first internationally acclaimed album “Rock Is Alive”.
