I stored the multitrack away soon after on a hard-drive and because of constant touring and organising the recording of my “Rock ‘n Roll Live” CD later in March 2010, I forgot all about it and found it quite by accident in late December last year, checking old hard-drives for anything of use before I threw them.

I produced this album as a debut for the band Raw Material, which the late Eric Berryhill a best friend and fellow musician, and I started in 1990. We were joined by excellent drummer Mike Warren and his brother Rob Warren on Bass.

We were offered a record contract based on these tracks, from an independent Label out of Nashville, but didn’t follow through because no one actually wanted to move at the time.

Archiviarum is a collection of special recordings which The Samurai of Prog have made throughout the years. Four tracks are new, a few are previously unreleased, a few have appeared in other projects with which TsoP have been involved, and two are covers (none of the tracks has appeared in our albums before). All have been given a new treatment; they all have new mixes, and in some cases new arrangements.
