Shining Blade ‎– Touch The Night 2012

Though considered a speed metal band, and don’t get me wrong, theres some moments, a considerable amount of this band’s energy seems to be focused towards hard-hittin’ melodic hard rock tracks, with punchy, rather than ‘gallopy’ riffs, and melodic vocals.

Annominus – The Architect (2018)

ANNOMINUS are a four-piece band from Denmark, and currently they are on Mighty Music’s roster. It is hard to pinpoint them musically. The label’ s PR text says that they “can best be described as a mixture of Hard Rock and Metal with crunching riffs” and that their music “creates pleasant flashbacks to the ‘ 00s metal scene”.

Elvellon – Until Dawn (2018)

Elvellon is a very promising newcomer-band from the German Symphonic Metal scene. Through a combination of orchestral sound, hard riffs and the extraordinary voice of frontwoman Nele the five musicians hit right at the heart of the listener. If one lets himself be carried off into their world of magic, he will find a journey between childish wonder and hard hearted bitterness.

Kablamachunk! – Chunkology: 1987~1993

Being one of Retrospect’s most eccentric bands, New York-based band KABLAMACHUNK! played a very unique and quirky brand of melodic rock with elements of powerpop, progressive rock and new wave. This double disc anthology contains recordings from their super obscure albums “Well…There It Is”, “Into The Arena Of The Unwell” and “Kilts On Stilts” PLUS 3 additional previously unreleased bonus tracks. Blue Oyster Cult’s Albert Bouchard became so enamored with this band that he produced several of their songs and Kablamachunk! were clearly a heavy influence on what would become Albe
