Walter Whitman (Walter Whitman) – the great American poet of the nineteenth century. His poetry – simple and intricate in form and eternal in content – sings the joy of human existence. The most famous of his poems “Leaves Of Grass” 1855 and “Song Of Myself” in autobiographical. Whitman writes as if there was no poetry before him, and there will not be after, as if there wasn’t and will not be of poetic size and rhyme. His verses look directly to the essence of being. That’s why Gino Vannelli in this song appeals to Walter Whitman.
