The same can be said of Dokken, the Los Angeles based band featuring frontman Don Dokken and exceptional guitarist George Lynch; two men who, no matter how hard they tried, just couldn’t see eye to eye yet managed to craft some of the most crucial hard rock of the 1980s.

Legendary Søren Berlev and his Berlevs RocknRoll Hotel have recorded new album at Flemming Rasmussen in his equally legendary Sweet Silence Studios. When Sweet Silence opened on April 7, 1976, Gasolin was the first orchestra to record in the studio. Now, after a number of years in Helsingør, the studio moved back to Copenhagen and who was the first band to record there, so was Søren Berlev with his new band Berlev’s Rock’n’Roll Hotel. The ring has ended!

Deep Purple are considered to be one of the hardest touring bands in the world. From 1968 until today (with the exception of their 1976–1984 split) they continue to tour around the world. In 2007, the band received a special award for selling more than 150,000 tickets in France, with 40 dates in the country in 2007 alone. Also in 2007, Deep Purple’s Rapture of the Deep tour was voted number 6 concert tour of the year (in all music genres) by Planet Rock listeners.The Rolling Stones’ A Bigger Bang tour was voted number 5 and beat Purple’s tour by only 1%.

Dappled Jay – Colourful Night (2018)

Dappled Jay was born in 2015 in Helsinki, Finland on a cold winter day. The Finnish power trio was founded by three rock dudes Aleksi Sandberg (vocals, guitars), Jukka-Pekka Vironen (drums) and Jari Rautiainen (bass) and it is a fresh new rock act in music scene. The band’s music is a mixture of 70’s style rock grooves, thundering rhythms, and the elements of progressive rock. The group is influenced by a range of classic rock, from progressive rock bands such as Rush and Pink Floyd, to classic rockers such as Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, to Finnish prog/psychedelic rock bands such as Kingston Wall and Von Hertzen Brothers.
