Live Aid (reads “Live Aid”, from English – “Live Help” [specify]) is an international charity music festival held on July 13, 1985. The event was organized by British musicians Bob Geldof and Midj Yur, with the aim of raising funds to help those affected by the terrible famine in Ethiopia from 1984-1985.
