In my opinion one of the best albums ever released. First time I heard it I was sold and I still count is as a major favorite.
Pure Attraction is the fourth full-length album by singer-songwriter Kathy Troccoli. It saw her moving slowly away from Christian music and into pop territory, with two songs written by Diane Warren. It featured the top five CCM and top twenty pop hit “Everything Changes”, and featured seven songs co-written by Troccoli.
Dianne Warren had written and composed the song “Everything Changes” for Taylor Dayne. Dayne had turned the selection down, however, and Joe Galante, then president of RCA Records, through which Reunion releases were distributed, offered it to Troccoli, who recalled: “He played it, and I knew I could own it. This was something I wanted to say.
Fun fact: two of the Background vocalists on the album are Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow) and Tony Harnell (TNT).
The album has except for the 1992 reissue never been re-released which in my opinion is a real shame. This is a very strong album which doesn’t sound the least outdated.
