This is an artist and an album of which I can find only few facts on the net. What caught my attention is the musicians involved which on 8 of the tracks includes well known artists Michael Landau, Buzzy Feiten, Nathan East & Jay Winding.

My Personal guess is that it was the common case of a record company taking too much control of the creative process.
Enid Levine from Passaic, New Jersey apparently caught the attention when her song “Hi-Fidelity” was included on the first “The Kids From Fame” album (1982). When she then had a minor hit with the song “American Love” (video can be found on youtube) they decided to invest in the artist, sending her to Los Angeles and booking skilled session musicians for the recordings.

Remastered Japanese edition of MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP excellent second album “MSG” (1981), as part of the Warner Music Japan ‘Forever Young Series Remastered’ including 7 bonus tracks, now out of print.

The high production values by one of my favorite twiddlers – Ron Nevison – resulted in one of the most polished Mr. Schenker albums ever. “MSG” is regarded by fans as perhaps the group’s finest hour with killer tracks such as ‘Ready To Rock’, ‘Never Trust A Stranger’ and the timeless classic ‘On And On’.

We didn’t like the Euro / American remastered version of “MSG” (it should be the CD pressing quality, resulting in a muddy sound) so this Japanese ‘‘Forever Young Serie

The band “Night Ranger”, which appeared in the early 80’s, perfectly reflected the spirit of that decade, playing mainstream hard rock anthems. Her story began in San Francisco, where Jack Blades (vocals, bass), Jeff Watson (guitar, vocals), Brad Gillies (guitar, vocals) and Kelly Kigi (vocals, drums) teamed up with keyboardist Alan Fitzgerald (ex-Montrose, Sammy Hagar) under the brand name “Night Rangers.”
