ANTHRAX is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of their album Persistence Of Time with this 2-disc ”Deluxe 30th Anniversary Remastered Edition”, fully remastered, including a bonus CD of rarities, and revised cover art that reflects what had been the album’s original visual concept.The release only will be available physically, on 2-CD and 4 vinyl LP.
With this album ANTHRAX pushed the limits of their Thrash Metal origins, and explore more traditional metal / hard sounds. For me, it’s one of the best or at least most complete albums from the band.
In comparison to their previous efforts, ”Persistence of Time” featured their most dark and moody material up until that point. The band’s image evolved from

The band, captivated by the FM radio sound of the late Seventies and early Eighties – with stadium rockers like TOTO and JOURNEY – write, record and perform epic and grandiose rock music featuring the likes of lush vocal harmonies, wide piano, and synth hooks, fiery guitar solos and an oh-so-smooth alto saxophone.
