Australian progressive metal band Teramaze has announced the release of new album “I Wonder” on October 9, 2020 via Wells Music. To celebrate the announcement, a music video was released for the song “A Deep State Of Awake”, which was directed by the band.
Lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Dean Wells states: “I Wonder is an album I’ve personally wanted to write for a very long time. Both albums are groovy heavy rock akin ’90s GEORGE LYNCH / KXM, some classic bluey heavy like BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION (Glenn Hughes), and a touch of LIVING COLOUR.
Akira Takasaki is the driven force behind these albums, really guitar-oriented and quite heavy / dense at places, especially ”Dragon”. There’s some awesome guitar work and I really like Masaki Yamada (the band’s vocalist in the Nineties, ex-EZO) aggressive tone, perhaps the most ‘American sounding’ Japanese-born singer of LOUDNESS history.
While similar in vibe, ”Ghetto Machine” is less darker, bluesy based hard rock wioth a sharp production, heavy at places yet classic rock influenced at others – listen to ”Evil Ecstasy” and tell me if it doesn’t brin

The title track “Eat Sleep Rock” is previously unreleased. Also on this album is “The Story Of Helix”, a rap with music behind it Brian wrote a couple of years ago to kick off the acoustic show. The album was mastered by Harry Hess of Harem Scarem. Harry is one of the best mastering guys in Canada right now. Daryl recorded the two new tracks at his Dawghouse Studios and Siegfried Meier, who has a Juno under his belt, did the mix. The artwork was executed by the One and Only Doctor Doerner. The back cover shot (which Brent manipulated in photo shop) was filmed by Victor Azziz Studios. Victor has done all our photography for years…he’s the best
