Eclipse have announced their first official live release, “Viva La Victouria”, which follows the tremendous success of their last studio release, “Paradigm”. Available on 2CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and 3xLP, “Viva La Victouria” includes the band’s performance in Gothenburg (Göteborg), Sweden on December 21, 2019 during their tour in support of the album.
Bonus footage will feature interviews with the band around the creation of “Paradigm” and “Viva La VicTOURia”, additional footage from the Paradigm Tour (backstage, tour bus, behind the scenes, etc.), and some interviews with the band around the development of Eclipse, from the early days up until now, including some historic footage.

On May 7, Mark Spiro releases his new album “Traveling Cowboys” and this is what can be read in a press release from the company Frontiers Records:
Mark Spiro’s new solo album “Traveling Cowboys” comes about one year after the career spanning “Best of” album which Frontiers released as a celebration of this great songwriter’s career. Once again, Mark Spiro continues a legacy of excellent songwriting, which he has always done in a very personal and heartfelt way.
On “Traveling Cowboys,” Mark once again writes and sings songs about life, love, sacrifice, heartbreak, and everything in between, while wrapping everything up in a smooth melodic rock blanket.
Mark was helped on the record by Tim Pierce and Gia Sky, but more notably,

REDD BARRON formed in February of 1987, in Romeoville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago; Brian Lee (vocals) and Pete Alvarez (guitars), friends since their school days, formed the band with the intent of writing and performing the music they loved, classic metal. Rod Gardner (drums) and Rick Tampier (bass) rounded out the original lineup. After establishing themselves as a top Chicago live act, they added guitarist Greg Eichelberger. Later bassist Frank Masterson would join the band.

releases February 26, 2021 ,MADDAX was formed in Miami Florida in 1986 by guitarists Ralph Tullo and David Coleman with bassist/vocalist Andi Austin and drummer Tomi Stotler.
In 1987, MADDAX entered Natural Sound Studios in Occoquan, Virginia to record a 4-song demo of uncut pure US power metal.
The band made their live debut at The Hairy Eyeball in Miami on April 17th of 1987 and from there onto the Fort Lauderdale club scene they went. On February 28th of 1988, MADDAX would play their final show with this line-up at Rosebuds in Fort Lauderdale.
By November of 1988, MADDAX was back with a new line-up and a new city, Washington D.C. The new line-up included drummer Tomi Stotler, bassist Kenny Killz, vocalist Eric Nutter, and guitarists Mark Joyce and Doug Langa
Limited to 500 worldwide,The state of Pennsylvania is known for producing some of the best hard rock and heavy metal bands to come from America. But for every band that would become a recognizable name, there were others left behind in obscurity only to wait to be discovered years later. Such is the case with SHAFT.

The more I listen to this EP the more I enjoy it. It shows maturation by the musicians & the album feels focused & direct. Instruments are tight, drumming has improved & guitar solos don’t sound like a Tube Screamer with the gain set too high.
