Trey Anastasio with Carlos Santana – Live At Warfield [2003, DVD]

On May 31, 2003, Trey Anastasio (from Phish) played at San Francisco’s Warfield Theatre. On that night, Carlos dropped by to say hello to Trey, ended up joining the ten-piece band on stage halfway through the first set, and continued to play with the group for the remainder of the night. The results were electric, suffused with spontaneous energy and exuberant interplay between the two guitarists. For Santana fans who want to see Carlos spread his musical wings, in a free formed jam experience, this DVD is a must have!

Corrado Rustici – Interfulgent (2021) + The Singing Light (single)

“Interfulgent” is a latin word meaning “Shining through” or “Shining among”.
Corrado describes this new work, as an artistic interpretation of a deep desire to transcend the socio-cultural darkness that surrounds us, with the help of new concepts, metaphorically represented on the cover, by a luminous object… harbinger of better times ahead.
Musically, it’s a compositional effort to place the electric guitar into a more contemporary musical context.
The tunes are characterized by unique guitar sounds, created also with the use of a signature pedal, that he developed with DV Mark.
