On Friday the 29th of October, the Swedish guitarist Sammy Berell releases his new album “Beyond The Veil” via the company Dark Force Records. On vocals you can hear Mark Boals (Yngwe Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire).

On October 22, the classic AOR band Heartland will release their new studio album “Into The Future” via the company Escape Music. Here’s how to read a press release:

Chris Ousey has had an excellent singing career that goes way back to the times of “Monroe” and “Virginia Wolf” and along the way we have had “The Distance”, “Ozone” and “Snakecharmer” but he will always be known for the much loved “Heartland”. He is nicknamed “The man with the golden tonsils” and that is a fine accolade indeed for he has earned it. His effortless vocal range has gained him a top spot in the world of classic UK hard rock.

We truly believe that the song-to-song strength of this work could be our finest to date, it has been 18 months in the making and the longest studio schedule we have ever experienced. The icing on the cake comes from Troy Donockley of Nightwish and Chris Leslie of Fairport Convention who guest beautifully on the album.
