At 6pm on April 20th 1992, Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon, the remaining Queen members, took the stands at London’s legendary Wembley Stadium to herald the start of one of the most significant events in Rock history, self-organized by Queen to pay tribute to their former colleague – incomparable Freddie Mercury. The atmosphere, emotions, a mixture of joy and sadness, shared by the audience of the stadium, TV viewers around the world, as well as performers, was an event that will never be forgotten.
