Hailing from the north-east of England, RISEN PROPHECY was formed in 2005 by Ross Oliver (guitars) and James Charlton (drums) who then quickly recruited Dan Tyrens (vocals) and Ben Oliver (bass).

Since the beginning the line-up has remained strong and stable because they share the same influences and are best friends outside the band. RISEN PROPHECY’s music is rooted in thrash but they take and mix in a variety of different genres, like US power metal and progressive metal, with a special leaning towards epic and conceptual songs.

The Swedish band Overdrive formed in 1980 from two local bands Paradize and Ocean. In December 1980 the first demo with the songs “Overdrive” and “20th Century” was released.
In 1981 the band recorded MLP “Reflexions” with their own money, which becomes collectible material as only 500 copies were made. The band writes the tracks “Tonight” and “Damnation Angel” for the local compilation “Rockslaget” (SOS 1982). Overdrive plays concerts and festivals with bands such as Mercyful Fate, Pretty Maids, Silver Mountain, EF Band, etc.
