A documentary about the life and career of the revered heavy metal musician Lemmy Kilmister (12/24/1945 – 12/28/2015), founder, bassist and lead vocalist of Motörhead.
Directed by Greg Olliver and Wes Orshosky, who wrote, directed and produced the film. The American premiere of the film took place in March 2010 at the South by Southwest festival in Austin (Texas, USA), the British premiere – in October 2010 at the London Film Festival.
The film is based on interviews that the directors took from Lemmy himself and his friends, colleagues and fans, including musicians and bands Slash, Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Joy Division, the Ramones and etc.
