Famous for their stirring love songs and soaring vocal lines, Air Supply was one of the most popular soft-pop bands in the 1980s. This 2001 DVD companion to the 1999 CD release features new introductions by Russell Hitchcock and Graham Russell and a wonderful selection of live concert footage and music videos, primarily from the 1980s, but some recent footage as well.

The DVD opens with Hitchcock and Russell’s description of a chance, 1975 meeting at a Melbourne rehearsal for Jesus Christ Superstar that led to the 1976 formation of the duo Air Supply. ‘Crackin’ Skulls And Crushin’ Bones’ is the debut album by Sydney based hard rock band Durty Triix. Written, recorded and produced by frontman Scotty Ginn (Boss, Rags N Riches) at his Mazz-XT Music Studio, the album is chock full of killer rock songs. It embodies everything that was great about 80’s hard rock with a contemporary edge. The classic influences are certainly there – AC/DC, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Scorpions, but are fleshed out by Ginn’s distinctive writing style.
