The film tells about Harrison’s early years in Liverpool, the Beatlemania period, Harrison’s spiritual quest and his travels to India, the influence of Hinduism and Indian culture on his music, Harrison’s role and significance as a member of The Beatles.
The film uses materials from the archives of George Harrison’s widow, Olivia Harrison. The film includes interviews with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton, George Martin, Eric Idle, Jane Birkin, Phil Spector, Tom Petty, Ravi Shankar and Hare Krishna guru Mukunda Goswami.
