Jimmy (James Patrick) Page was born on January 9, 1944 in Heston (Middlesex, UK). Already in the mid-1960s, he gained fame as a gifted guitarist – Page acted as a session musician, participated in the recordings of various groups, including “The Who” and “The Rolling Stones”. After initially turning down an offer to play guitar in the rhythm and blues band The Yardbirds, Jimmy Page changed his mind and played with the band until it broke up in 1968.
