Documentary film about English singer-songwriter David Bowie released in 2022. The project was directed, written and produced by Brett Morgen.
The film shows previously unseen footage from the musician’s personal archives, including live recordings. This is the first film produced with the support and approval of Bowie’s heirs. The title of the tape refers to the musician’s song of the same name in 1971. The film had its world premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, receiving high marks from specialized publications and film critics. Moonage Daydream was released in theaters on September 16, 2022, distributed by Neon.
