As requested, here’s the very first, early record from L.A. GUNS, titled “Collector’s Edition No.1“, in its remastered reissue.
Founded by guitarist Tracii Guns, the EP is the only release by the band to feature vocalist Michael Jagosz, bassist Ole Beich and drummer Rob Gardner, all of whom left shortly after its release (Tracii, Beich and Gardner subsequently co-founded Guns N’ Roses).
”Collector’s Edition No. 1” (originally simply released as ”L.A. Guns”) was recorded in 1984 at Westwind Studios in Thousand Oaks, California, owned by Ronnie James Dio. It was produced by Chuck Rosa & Tracii and released private in 1985 by the band’s manager Raz Cue on his own label.
This is L.A. GUNS at its rawest, street level intoxicating sound.
