Australian prog rockers Southern Empire have announced that they will release their third album, Another World, on September 4th. The album will be released on GEP records, home to IQ. The album will feature new vocalist Shaun Holton, who was announced earlier this year as the band’s new frontman.

Simply amazing concert, not bad quality for a bootleg, excellent set-list… Only the Japanese, for some reason on more or less slow songs, gave their translation titles… hmmm… But the shooting is simply wonderful! Like in the good old 70s…The only downside to this great video is some crackling in the right channel…

As requested, here’s the somehow ‘lost’ YES studio album: “Keystudio“.
In 1995, guitarist Trevor Rabin and keyboardist Tony Kaye left the group which marked the return of former members Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman, thus reuniting them with vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, and drummer Alan White, a line-up that had last performed in 1979.

The group relocated to San Luis Obispo, California to make a new album and to promote their reunion with three shows at the Fremont Theater, in March 1996. These shows were recorded and released on two live albums; ‘Keys to Ascension I’ (1996) and ‘Keys to Ascension II’ (1997).
But both releases also included the new studio material the band was working on

DARE FORCE is a cult hard rock / metal band that was initially formed in Minneapolis in the late 1970s. Dare Force released three albums in the 1980s, and performed in concert with numerous national acts such as KISS, Ted Nugent, Triumph, Kansas, UFO, Joe Perry Project, Ratt – just to name a few – as well as headlining in venues throughout the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, and South America. The band also had several songs that received heavy airplay on rock radio stations throughout the US in the ’80s.

Dare Force released its third CD, ”Firepower” with a reformed version of the band in 1989. It’s perhaps their most celebrated record, with a melodic hard rock radio friendly approach. Now it’s being reissued

In 1989, a promoter located in Milwaukee, WI, reached out to five unconnected regional gunslinger musician/vocalists with the concept of creating an AOR-Rock band with a fresh sound. After meeting each other, JUKEBOX HEROES took the stage “literally” five weeks later to an oversold house at Starz on 100 in Milwaukee with a waiting line out the door.

The tour began, and soon JUKEBOX HEROES was in demand throughout the Midwestern US.
