The definitive version of one of Rainbow’s career highlights, this digitally Remastered and expanded deluxe 2-CD edition features a bonus disc of an unreleased concert recorded in Japan, 1976, from the Deep Purple archives.

Here you have not 1, not 2, but 3 versions of these songs. On Disc I we find the ‘New York Mix’ (original LP release), as well as the “Los Angeles Mix” (original CD release).

Angels of Light were an American folk band that was formed circa 1998 by singer-songwriter and musician Michael Gira after he disbanded Swans, the group he had founded in 1982. The band has marked a distinctly different style for Gira since he left Swans, most noticeably being musically more melodic and less brutal than his previous efforts and with emphasis on acoustic instruments and folk and country influences.
