Under Fire – Under Fire (Èxpanded Edition) 2019, 2 CD, MP3+FLAC

UNDER FIRE‘s sole release is something like a lost AOR / Melodic Rock cult classic, and the making of what might have been a super-group for the genre. Finally, their self-titled album gets a proper remastered release thanks to Hear No Evil / Cherry Red Records, including a second CD with eight unreleased tracks as bonus, featuring Rough Cutt’s Paul Shortino on lead vocals on some songs.

The band was originally put together when New England / Alcatrazz keyboard player Jimmy Waldo met Billy Squier guitarist Cary Sharaf, and quickly formed a strong writing partnership, way back in 1988. They were joined by strong vocalist Moki Demarco, settling on Steve Schwartz and Greg Wise for drums and bass.

Faster Pussycat: Babylon – The Elektra Years 1987-1992, 4CD Box Set 2022, MP3+FLAC

As requested, here’s last year Hear No Evil / Cherry Red Records 4xCD Box Set celebrating the 3 key albums + rarities from legendary hair metal glamsters FASTER PUSSYCAT during their major label time from the end of the ‘80s and early ‘90s.

Titled “Babylon : The Elektra Years 1987-1992“, the 4-disc collection include all albums remastered, a host of bonus tracks, and the EP ‘Live And Rare’ from 1990.
Forming in Hollywood in 1985, and taking their name from Russ Meyer’s 1965 exploitation trash classic, Faster! Pussycat! Kill! Kill! – Taime Downe (lead vocals), Greg Steele (guitar), Brent Muscat (gu

MASTERPLAN – Live in Gothenburg 2003

Yesterday we featured MASTERPLAN‘s first self-titled CD in its 20 Anniversary remastered reissue, and now we have the band captured live during the album’s tour. “Live in Gothenburg 2003” was recorded February 20th, 2003, Gothenburg, Sweden, and the sound quality is excellent.

The sheer energy of the band in that venue is palpable. Their live performance was nothing short of spectacular. The live sound amplifies their prowess, and anyone fortunate enough to witness MASTERPLAN fronted by Jorn Lande can consider themselves extremely lucky.
