The history of these hard rock fossils starts in the early 70’s as four young healthy farm boys inspired by bands like Black Sabbath, Montrose and Led Zeppelin decide to form a band called “Frankenstein”.
From the very beginning they have had the image of “Bad boys”, because they literally make the Netherlands unsafe
with their spectacular, hard rock shows.
Not to mention the disproportionate amount of lighting and sound equipment
which was loaded from a large truck by their fanatical road crew.
It was clear: Frankenstein was “serious business”.
The performance together with Motörhead at the pop festival in Lochem in 1980, which was broadcast on TV,
is the absolute highlight for the band and also means national fame.
