Southern Rock from USA . With the release of this new album, their second one, Catawompus is a bit surprising.
The music is not bad at all, but the musical direction they took is real far from their first album.
The hard driving blues and its greasy guitars is not there any more, but the atmospheres are more of country music and nashville sound.
But don’t get me wrong, this is a nice album, which confirms Catawompus is still one of the best american bands from this new southern generation.
They just have to find a musical identity, but as the musicians are really great, you can trust them, they’ll make it
