Pete Devine managed to grab a quick chat with Casey Maunder, before his performance on the Friday night of the Station 18 Festival 2024 at the Hangar 18 Music Venue in Swansea. Exciting times ahead for this local rocker, with his new album “Get Out And Push” being released on the 13th May via TIWN Media.
PD: How would you describe The Casey Maunder sound?
CM: Right. I guess eclectic. I’m a massive Queen fan in terms of the different styles that they put on one album. There’s always a melody, always a chorus. I try to layer it with backing vocals. So yeah, energetic, sonic, melodic guitar, based rock’n’roll.
