Arakain is slowly becoming one of the longest-running domestic rock bands, recording and touring non-stop for over four decades. They thus confirmed their exceptional status during the celebration of 40 years on stage in January 2023 in the sold-out hall O2 universum, where a special concert recording 40 – O2 universum was also created. Over 140 minutes, 29 legendary hits and special guests, it was an unforgettable evening, now available on DVD, 2CD and digital. Jan Toužimský (vocals), Jiří Urban (guitars), Miroslav Mach (guitars), Lukáš Doxa Doksanský (drums) and Marek Loučka (bass) presented themselves to the enthusiastic audience in excellent form and in the line-up presenting Arakain in 2024. A cross-section of the complete repertoire and all genre periods was decorated with their participation by two prominent personalities. And while the multiple golden nightingale Lucie Bílá has been meeting Arakain on stages since the beginning of her career, Petr Kolář replaced Aleš Brichta as the singer of the band between 2002 and 2005. Now the numerous fans of our home heavy legend can enjoy the live best of Arakain not only in visual form, but also with great sound, which was taken care of by Honza Toužimský on the resulting recording.
