Foreigner – Inside Information 1987 (Japanese Edition 2007), MP3+FLAC

As requested here’s in the only remastered version available of FOREIGNER 1987’s album “Inside Information“. This CD is part of a Japanese Foreigner cardboard sleeve (mini LP) reissue series featuring faithfully reprinting the original LP art and OBI.

While “Inside Information” has been reissued some years ago, never has been remastered apart of this Japanese release, now out of print. It’s a Nineties-type of remastering, not intrusive, but adding oomph, much better than the regular versions.
Musically “Inside Information” it’s a great melodic hard rock album, from one of the most wonderful years of the genre > hence its sound and production. The record generated top 10 hits, “Say You Will,” and “I Don’t Want To Live Without You,” both classic songs now, especially the former, AOR for the masses.

“Inside Information” was the last album to feature the 1980s core line-up of Gramm, Jones, Wills, and Elliott. It’s a very underrated record overshadowed by the two previous impressive gems. But “Inside Information” has its own charm, it’s much more melodic and commercial – more 1987 indeed.
This rare Japanese reissue on mini-LP is the best sounding version we heard of “Inside Information”.
