After featuring here the new Jim Peterik And World Stage album released today, many of you asked for Jimbo’s unreleased songs – there’s many, the man is a prolific songmaker. All over his career Peterik has written songs for countless bands / artists, and penned a lot more still unreleased / not recorded.
Here we have ”Songwriting Demos 1989-91”, a bunch of songs written by JIM PETERIK during Survivor hiatus (1988-1993).
At the time, most renowned songwriters recorded demos of their new songs for being presented to publishing agents, record labels, etc. And they used the services of talented musicians and performing vocalists.
The songs included into ”Songwriting Demos 1989-91” feature Jim on vocals and many instruments, and really good singers such as John Melnick (Dennis DeYoung, Ides Of March), Thom Griffin (Trillion, TIM, Mecca), Moe Carrera, Frank Nidalle, Baby Blue, Jan James – and while most of them aren’t famous, all worked in the industry for years – and all are very good, believe us.
Sound quality isn’t first rate, yet enough to enjoy these really good ’80s/90s tunes.
