Harlow – Harlow 1990 mp3 + lossless

Harlow
As requested, here’s the impressive one and only album by HARLOW, a melodic hard rock / AOR American act fronted by talented vocalist Teresa Straley. Signed by a major label and co-produced by renowned Pat Regan (Rainbow, Black N’ Blue) who also play on the record, the band 1990’s self-titled release “Harlow” should have been huge.

Seriously, HARLOW, if not better, was in the same quality level of VIXEN or FEMME FATALE. The band was the child of Teresa Straley who wrote all the songs and co-produced.

Craig Goldy – Insufficient Therapy 1993, MP3+FLAC

Insufficient Therapy

As requested, here’s former Giuffria / Dio guitarist CRAIG GOLDY 1993’s solo album “Insufficient Therapy“, with lead vocals performed by ex- Dokken Jeff Pilson. Here, Goldy explores metal / hard rock territories but not in the traditional way. There’s some impressive instrumentation, crazy guitar licks by Goldy, and pretty interesting songs, quite different from what the musician did in the past.
However, it’s a shame that what actually was released are the pre-production demos. There’s some oddly stories in the music industry, but the anecdote with “Insufficient Therapy” is really curious.

After some dud albums in the mid-Eighties, ”Hear & Now” brings back Squier’s catchiness and that 1989 polished production sound wrapping all these melodies.
Co-produced by (AORsters The Ladder, Lou Reed, I’Napoleon) and Squier, ”Hear & Now” included top musicians in bass player Mark Clarke (ex Uriah Heep, Colosseum, Mountain) and drummer Anton Fig (KISS, Frehley’s Comet), plus longtime partners keyboard player Alan St John, drummer Bobby Chouinard, capable guitarist Jeff Golub, and in-demand guitarist John McCurry (who’s lengthy list of credits include Cher, John Waite
