Tori Amos (born Myra Ellen Amos, August 22, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter whose work combines elements of alt-rock, folk-rock, prog-rock, jazz, experimental electronics, and influences from Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush. Amos’s primary accompanying instrument is usually the piano. This release from Eagle Rock Vision features two concerts in Montreux in 1991 and 1992.

Formed in Malden, Massachusetts in 1985, the original members – still considered to be the classic lineup – consisted of Gary Cherone (vocals), Paul Geary (drums), Pat Badger (bass), and Nuno Bettencourt (guitar). The band got its name from the fact that both Cherone and Geary were previously members of the band The Dream, and were, therefore, ex-Dream.
