Grant Stevens is a truly unique globe-trotting artist that I’m thrilled to announce as my first MRC Tasmanian signing. The album is Grant’s AOR flavoured singer/songwriter CBS Records major label debut, ‘Grant Stevens’, originally released in 1989.

Grant Stevens grew up in Sydney’s western suburbs, forming his first band in high-school then leaving for London at age 18 to gain experience in the European market. Canadian melodic rock band REGATTA released their classic one-off album back in 1989. After several years of prompting from MRC, the guys feel now is the right time to get this album dusted off and back out there in CD and Digital form.

The band’s core members Chris Smith (Lead Vocals, Guitars) and Matthew Gerrard (Bass, Backing Vocals) agreed to work with MRC, with the audio fully remastered by Gerrard from original masters.
