Jethro Tull’s 2003 Christmas album has been remastered and expanded for the reissue, now subtitled Fresh Snow At Christmas and available as a 4-CD set with Blu-ray or on double vinyl.
The album features new takes on seven Tull songs, including 1968’s ‘A Christmas Song’ (the B-side to the ‘Love Story’ single). The festive offering was also the final studio album to feature longtime guitarist Martin Barr, who contributed the closing instrumental ‘A Winter Snowscape’.
“Some of these tracks aren’t necessarily Christmas songs; they’re more seasonal, so that gives you a wider range,” says Ian Anderson. “And then there are a couple of songs that I quite often play in the middle of the summer and say, ‘Christmas is coming
